About

Portable Power Rank compares portable power stations on the same specs. A review puts models in an order for a job. Each model page also shows a score.

Who we are

The site is for readers in the United States. Portable Power Rank is not affiliated with the brands named on the site.

What you'll find

  • Reviews pick a few models, put them in an order, and say who each one suits.
  • The model list has filters, sort, and a comparison of up to three.
  • Model pages show the specs, any published battery test, and other models in the same size range.

All three read the same numbers, so a price or a battery figure doesn't change from page to page.

Where the numbers come from

Capacity, output, weight, and the other specs come from the brands. A battery test from someone else appears only with that publisher's name and URL. The full rules are on the how we review page.

Who does the work

The work splits into three roles:

  • Editor chooses what is listed and sets the order on a review.
  • Fact check checks specs, prices, and dates against the source.
  • Page editor reads the page and handles corrections.

Each review and model page shows the date the numbers were updated.

How the site can make money

Some purchase links may be affiliate links. A paid partnership would be labeled on the disclosure page. A commission would not change a spec or the order of a review.

Brands, readers, and corrections

Brands

A brand may send a sample or a spec sheet. We check the sheet before we use it. A brand doesn't preview or edit the order of a review, and a brand can't buy a spot. A partnership would be labeled under the disclosure rules.

Readers and corrections

If a spec or a price is wrong, write to carterwzq@gmail.com. The contact page lists what to include. After we check it, the date on the page changes.
